Naseby lies in the North of the county of Northamptonshire with the town of Northampton approximately 14 miles to the south. Market Harborough in Leicestershire is the nearest town lying approximately seven miles to the north.  Naseby lies off the A14 (M1/A1 link road) and thus is very easily accessed.  Nearby Stanford Reservoir approximately 5 miles away provides Nature Trails and wildlife.

Naseby enjoys a very special place in history having been the site of a bloody battle in 1645 between the Royalist troops of King Charles I and the Parlimentarians, led by Oliver Cromwell.

The battle proved to be a crucial turning point during the English Civil War and thus Naseby earned its own unique position in history.

The village itself dates back to the sixth century as a Saxon settlement. By 1086 the village had a population of 105 and presently has around 500 residents (source: www.en.wikipedia.org, the internet encyclopedia.)

Naseby has two local pubs, The Fitzgerald Arms and The Royal Oak and a small primary School.  In the centre of the village is the recreation ground offering facilities for the local football and cricket clubs as well as providing a children's play area.  Cold Ashby Golf Club is located approxiately 2.5 miles from the village.
