Gardeners Rest - Ashley, Northamptonshire

COMPLETED IN SUMMER 2006

A development of only two individual houses in this picturesque village set in the rolling Northamptonshire countryside.

Ashley is a picturesque village set in rolling Northamptonshire countryside some 3 miles East of Market Harborough. The village Church of St Mary The Virgin is one of the focal points of the village and is a beautiful building set at one end of the village as you enter Ashley from the neighbouring village of Weston by Welland. The George Public House stands in the middle of the village and a little further along Main Street is the Ashley Village Hall which has benefitted from money from the Millennium Fund. Close to our development of two new houses is Ashley Herb Farm that sells herbs and wild bird food.

The nearby town of Market Harborough is on the Midland Mainline Rail Network. Market Harborough station connects London St. Pancras with Sheffield and Leeds in the North. There are also direct services to Leicester, Nottingham and Derby for the commuter. The average journey time to London St. Pancras for weekday travel is 1 hour and 15 minutes (source: www.nationalrail.co.uk in the 'plan my journey' section).
