Francis Jackson Homes is a family owned housebuilding company specialising in well built traditional homes across the South Midlands.
The company is based in Olney, Buckinghamshire and has established a reputation as one of the very best housebuilders in the region, with attention to detail and quality of finish second to none.
We are proud of the fact that we have just been awarded two prestigious awards by LABC Warranty for Best Development 2011 (11-50 homes) and Developer of the Year 2011.

- Francis Jackson Homes was founded in Harrow in 1928 by Civil Engineer Francis GC Jackson (1900-1976)
- The 1930s saw the extension of the Metropolitan and Picaddilly undeground lines from central London. Francis Jackson and his consortium partners realised the potential and were soon selling an astonishing 60 houses a week!
- Founder Francis Jackson was a pioneer in new homes marketing, travelling to France to advertise on commercial radio, not yet permitted in the UK
- During WWII, Francis Jackson Ltd was seconded to aid the war effort, principally building airfields, including Silverstone - now home to British motorsport
- After 1945, the company concentrated on rebuilding war-damaged properties, such as schools and hospitals, running a small housebuilding division
- In 1962, Francis Jackson's son Robert joined the company having worked as a Civil Engineer and the company began to focus on building houses in the expanding towns and villages beyond the green belt to the north of London
- In 1978 the company relocated to Olney, Buckinghamshire to be closer to their sites and customers
- In 1985 Francis Jackson Homes was selected to construct the "10,000th private home" in Milton Keynes at Gifford Park
- In 2001 the company sold the first £1 million new house in Milton Keynes at Shenley Church End
- In 2011 LABC Warranty awarded the company Developer of the Year and Development of the Year
- Today, Francis Jackson continues to be family owned and now run by Francis Jackson's grandson Nick, who joined in 1999, having worked as a Chartered Surveyor in commercial property in London
